A new ESR spectrum in the Y-Ca-Ba-La-Cu-O high-T<sub>c</sub> superconductor system

Electron spin resonance spectra (ESR) of YBa<sub>1.5</sub>La<sub>0.5</sub>Cu<sub>3</sub>O<sub>7.21</sub> and Y<sub>0.7</sub>Ca<sub>0.3</sub>Ba<sub>1.5</sub>La<sub>0.5</sub>Ca<sub>3</sub>O<sub>7.08</sub> high-T<sub>c</sub> superconductors (HTSC) were obtained using 3 cm and 2 mm ESR spectrometers. A nearly isotropic Lorentz line with a g factor of 2.0065+or-0.0005 was observed and interpreted as being due to the electron located near a diamagnetic atom in the HTSC lattice.
