We have calculated the effect of impurity scattering on the low-temperature dependence of the nuclear spin - lattice relaxation rate for a two-dimensional superconductor with symmetry. Impurity scattering in the T-matrix approximation is considered for different values of the phase shift. It is shown that strong impurity scattering profoundly affects the low-temperature dependence of the nuclear spin - lattice relaxation time, .
