Strong-perturbation theory for a surface hydrogen-like impurity in a magnetic field of arbitrary strength

The strong-perturbation theory is employed to calculate the energy levels of a hydrogen-like system at the surface in a constant magnetic field of arbitrary strength. The applied magnetic field is taken to be normal to the boundary surface. Using the parabolic coordinate system, the authors obtain the analytic expression of levels depending on the parameter eta which represents the magnetic field strength. The numerical results are given.
