dc.description | We present numerical results for the low-lying spectra of quantum dots with N = 3 to 8 as a function of the external magnetic field. The only values that the angular momentum of the ground state can take are magic values. This is interpreted in terms of a geometrical configuration model and an -configuration model. The relationship of the two models is discussed. |
