dc.description It is well known that spin-wave resonance (SWR) phenomena can be observed in single-layer ferromagnetic films provided that the sample exhibits certain (surface or volume) inhomogeneities in its respective magnetic properties. Here,, the authors show theoretically that the observation of SWR in bilayer (exchange-coupled) ferromagnetic films is possible even if both constituent sublayers are homogeneous provided that their bulk characteristics differ appropriately from each other.
