dc.description The thermopower and the transverse Nernst-Ettingshausen effect are studied in impurity semiconductors and semimetals exposed to external electric E and nonquantising magnetic H fields in the presence of a lattice temperature gradient with due regard of the nondiffusion approximation for the acoustic phonons. In the absence of electron and phonon heating, the thermal and mutual drags are taken into account. It is shown that in the nondiffusion approximation, in contrast to the diffusion one, the thermal and mutual drags lead to a nonlinear current E dependence without electrons and phonons being heated ('nonheated nonlinearity'). This leads to the E and H dependence of the thermopower and NE coefficient.
