| dc.description | The authors report X-ray and UV photoemission measurements of the valence bands in equi-atomic CuAu in both the ordered (L1<sub>o</sub> structure) and disordered (FCC) phases. They find that there are large differences in the spectra, particularly in the region of the Au d states. The measurements also suggest that the valence bandwidth in the ordered phase is greater than that in the disordered phase. |
