The formation of magnetic-field-induced spin-density-wave phases with quantized wavevectors in a quasi-two-dimensional organic conductor results in the quantization of the Hall conductance. The authors study the rotation of a polarized electromagnetic wave incident perpendicular to the molecular layer at a moderate magnetic field. Some interesting features are shown which should be useful in the investigation of Bechgaard salts.
