The pressure-temperature phase diagram of (N(CH<sub>3</sub>)<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub>FeCl<sub>4</sub> crystals: birefringent, elastic and electroacoustic properties

The influence of the hydrostatic pressure on the temperature dependences of the ultrasonic velocities and attenuations, optical birefringence and electroacoustic coefficient f<sub>443</sub> is studied in the vicinity of the phase transition temperatures of (N(CH<sub>3</sub>)<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub>FeCl<sub>4</sub> crystals. The pressure-temperature phase diagram is obtained. The results are discussed within the framework of phenomenological theory.
