| dc.description | The observations related to capillarity made during space flights are explained theoretically. This is achieved by using (i) Young`s expression for the contact angle to predict the changing shape of the meniscus and (ii) the Poiseuille-Peiris-Tennakone formula to calculate the speed of the rising column. |
