An analysis of 47 hours of data, collected by the Gulmarg gamma-ray telescope during the period 27 September-30 October 1989, indicates the absence of a statistically significant DC signal from the X-ray binary pulsar, 4UO115+63, at photon energies >or=4 TeV. An independent search, carried out for a pulsed signal in the same database, using the well known Rayleigh power test, also does not yield evidence for any episodic, or persistent-pulsed, gamma-ray emission from the source. An upper limit of 2.33*10-11 photons cm-2 s-1 is placed at 99% confidence level on the steady gamma-ray flux from this transient X-ray binary system at photon energies >4 TeV.
