A regularization ambiguity in the chiral Schwinger model is characterized. Using an independent method, prescriptions are developed for applying the integration procedure of Roskies and Schaposnik (1981), and its follow-up form, in the calculation of a Jacobian for a finite chiral transformation of fermions in the same model. There are comments on the relevant literature. The general Schwinger model is touched upon within the same context. |
