The importance of various symmetries among splitting functions and coefficient functions is discussed. We study the scheme invariance in detail by constructing appropriate physical observables. We also discuss the Drell-Levy-Yan relation between spacelike and timelike observables. The relations coming from supersymmetry are also discussed.
