In this paper the production and development of laser plasma is introduced, and the contribution of laser biomedicine and laser plasma technology to ophthalmology is analyzed. In the end, the latest three progresses (laser photocoagulation, photorefractive keratotomy and laser iridectomy) of laser plasma applications in ophthalmology are presented.
