Drift velocity and longitudinal diffusion coefficient of electrons in pure ethene were measured over a wide E/N range from 0.03 to 1000 Td (1 Td = 10<sup>−17</sup> V cm<sup>2</sup>) with a newly constructed electron drift apparatus. The accuracy of the present drift velocity and longitudinal diffusion coefficient was estimated to be ±0.5% and ±3%, respectively. The present results were compared with other two-carbon-atom hydrocarbon molecules with different C–C bonds, ethane and acetylene.
