Non-selfadjoint second-order differential operators on the half-line having a discontinuity in an interior point are studied. We establish properties of the spectrum and investigate the inverse problem of recovering the operator from given spectral characteristics. For this inverse problem we prove the uniqueness theorem, obtain a procedure for constructing the solution and provide necessary and sufficient conditions for the solvability of the inverse problem.
