dc.description Accurate energies and oscillator strengths for seven lowest excited states of neon-like ions from Na II to Ar IX are calculated using a mixed configuration-interaction and perturbation-theory approach. The energies obtained are in close agreement with experiment. Our oscillator strengths are compared with experiments and other theories.
