In the search for physics beyond the Standard Model, the accuracy with which one can predict hadronic properties plays an important role. This places a new emphasis on studies of charm physics. CLEOc has embarked on a diverse program of research encompassing leptonic decay, semileptonic decay, meson spectroscopy, and many other areas of charm physics.
