We present an efficient approach to restoring a blurred image in real time by using opto-electronic hybrid processing, by which an image motion vector can be effectively detected and an accurate point spread function (PSF) was modeled rapidly. A Wiener filter was adopted to restore the blurred image, greatly simplifying the complexity of the image restoration algorithm. The approach applies to the restoration of arbitrary motion blurred images. An opto-electronic hybrid joint transform correlation (JTC) was constructed to confirm the efficiency. The experimental results show that the proposed method has the distinct advantages of real time and good effect.
