As EAQ completes two decades of publication, changes in professors and hence preparation programs since the mid-1950s are reviewed. Originally Americocentric and restricted by the tyranny of isolation, professors demonstrated a form of administrative narcissism. This is now in decline as leaders in the field actively seek to learn from abroad, widen theory bases, and observe new modes of administrator preparation. |
