dc.description This article describes a partnership model for delivery of graduate education in Belize. Based on the successes of the first two years, the model has promising implications for educational development programs and institutions of higher education interested in offering graduate programs in Central America and the Caribbean. Topics addressed include the University of North Florida's history of involvement in Belize education, Belizean contextual factors considered in planning and delivering a M.Ed. program in Belize, a description of the model, anticipated outcomes of the program, and a summary of lessons learned about designing and implementing international graduate degree programs.
