Kameenui, Edward, J.; Kameenui, Edward, J., Edward J. Kameenui is area coordinator and associate professor of special education in the Teacher Education Division, University of Oregon. He received his PhD from the University of Oregon in Eugene. Dr. Kameenui has been a project officer in the Office of Special Education Programs, U.S. Department of Education, and a houseparent and teacher of students with serious behavior problems. He has also taught at the University of Montana and Purdue University. His current research interests are in the relation between academic learning problems and instructional design in reading and mathematics. Address: Edward J.
