This article reports on a case study of a worker attempting to embed reflection into his workplace practice which offers insights into reflection and professional performance. Data drawn from interviews with the worker and from his journal reveal how his understanding of reflection developed with time, how he incorporated reflection into his work practice, how he improved aspects of his professional performance, and what he learned about his own learning. Some implications for adult educators working in the field of professional self development are also offered. |
