The Ocean Science Committee of the Ocean Affairs Board of the National Academy of Sciences is assembling information for a 1974 Directory of U.S. Marine Scientists. The primary candidates for inclusion in the Directory are those scientists who have their principal interest in the marine sciences and who have published scientific papers in this field during the last several years. The directors of offices and organizations whose functions are primarily in some aspect of marine science will also be included.
