International Symposium on Soil Water Physics and Technology

An International Symposium on Soil Water Physics and Technology will be held in Rehovot, Israel, August 29–September 5, 1971. The topics will include energy relations of water in soil, infiltration and unsaturated flow phenomena, cycle and balance of water in the field, evapotranspiration, irrigation, and soil water salinity problems. A special panel will be convened on the topic of ’Optimizing the Soil Physical Environment toward Greater Crop Yields.‘ The proceedings of the symposium and of the special panel will be published.
