The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is asking for research proposals for its Planetary Geology and Geophysics program. Competition is open to all organizations and individuals, and requests must be submitted by July 31, 1988. Research in the program is in planetary geology, geophysics, cartography, and geologic mapping. Program scientists are studying the planets, their satellites including ring systems, and smaller Solar System bodies like asteroids and comets. The goal is to learn more about planetary processes, the origin and evolution of the Solar System, and Earth compared to other planets. |
