dc.description The main characteristics of the atmospheric tides observed at St. Santin and Garchy are examined and compared. It is found that the semidiurnal tide is very variable in the meteoric range (80 to 100 km) and more regular above. Some direct comparisons, corresponding to simultaneous measurements, show the same features and exhibit a good agreement in the region where the two types of measurements overlap.
