The fine structure has been examined, of spermatogonia, spermatocytes, early spermatids, late spermatids and early spermatozoa nestling against Sertoli cells in the gonad of Lymnaea stagnalis.Changes in the Sertoli cells are linked with the phases of sperm differentiation. Details on differentiation particularly of the head of the sperm, are presented.
