| dc.description | Synchronous laryngeal malignancies are extremely uncommon. To the best of our knowledge, only four cases of primary synchronous squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the larynx are available in the literature. We report the case of a 52-year-old patient with simultaneous spindle-cell carcinoma and SCC in situ of the larynx. The pathogenesis, treatment and prognosis of this rare occurrence have been discussed. |
