| dc.description | AbstractA method of calculating cost per fish by species is described for warmwater hatcheries that normally use pond-rearing techniques. The method involves calculating the cost per hectare-day of hatchery pond production and prorating those costs to each species reared, based on the pond space and time used for that species. An example of the technique is provided. |
