This program involves teaching simple cooking techniques to senior citizens within nursing care facilities. The participants in the program would explore the foods of various countries. Lessons would be taught by volunteers, from local communities and from area high schools which surround the nursing care facility being served. In some instances special guests would be invited to demonstrate foods from a particular country. Volunteers would require the guidance and support of the nursing care facility's management staff. |
