| dc.description | A 20-item quiz was developed to assess basic knowledge about services and programs that target older populations. The quiz was administered to older non-caregiving community dwelling adults, older adult caregivers, and undergraduate and graduate nursing students. The results indicate that, across groups, there were a number of knowledge gaps about nationwide services for older adults. These findings suggest that it may be important to develop better ways to assess knowledge of elderly services to assist in the training of health-care professionals, as well as to educate the general public. |
