dc.description In this article, Tony Wright, Staff Tutor in Technology in the East Anglian Region of the Open University, describes the development of a resource pack intended to help tutor‐counsellors to reflect on and improve their tutorial practice. Although it deals specifically with the Open University's Foundation course in Technology, the basic principles behind this approach, he argues, are applicable to staff development for tutors on other open learning courses.
