This pathfinder was originally prepared for the invited speakers session "Biomedical Research and Animal Rights," which was sponsored by the Veterinary Medical Libraries Section and Research Libraries Section and was held June 6, 1991, during the 1991 Annual Conference of the Medical Library Association. It is intended to give a few, current resources for students, academic, and librarians who wish to prsue the related issues of laboratory animal welfare and animal rights and want entry into the literature. It is intended to list resources in support of animal research.
