AbstractThe glow curves of pre-dosed LiF:Mg, Ti samples irradiated with gamma rays and UV light are investigated by means of glow curve de-convolution. The results are discussed in terms of a partly interactive trap system proposed earlier. Our results show that thermoluminescence (TL) of the samples irradiated with UV light is supralinear with pre-dose and suggest that TL in these samples is mainly due to interactive traps. The glow curve of the gamma irradiated samples consists of two parts due to interactive and non interactive traps with slightly different trapping parameters. The TL contribution of the non interactive traps is approximately constant while the contribution of the interactive traps is sublinear with pre-dose.
