dc.description Selected issues relative to advertising by lawyers from the perspective of consumers were examined in this study. Generally, consumers have unfavorable perceptions of advertisements by lawyers. However, the consumers with an educational level of 12 years or less have a better opinion of both the advertisements and the lawyers who do the advertising than consumers with more than 12 years of education. Some implications for the legal establishment are suggested.
