ABSTRACTUsing a sample of cola drinkers who are also cereal eaters, this paper focuses on the interplay of calorie consciousness and nutritional consciousness among consumers. The results of the study reveal that more calorie conscious consumers are also significantly more nutritionally conscious. Further analysis reveals that this finding is significant only among the occasional cereal eaters. The implications of these findings to the practicing marketer are discussed. |
