| dc.description | ABSTRACTA research study was undertaken to determine class-room behavior and communication gap based on gender differences. The research was concerned with student perceptions of the classroom behaviors of both male and female students and professors alike. The research was conceived to be beneficial in identifying gender stereotypes of images about classmates and professors.An assessment of gender differences during Training sessions has been recently reported by Hazel J. Rozema and John W. Gray. The statements used in their study were based on their research in business, government, educational and social settings. These statements were modified to fit the classroom climate for the present investigation.A modified version of the instrument was personally administered to a proportionality sample of 200 students. The data so obtained were subjected to statistical analyses through MINITAB Statistical Software package. The findings and analyses of data along with the profile of the sample have been presented in this report.The research provided statistical evidence that there exist significant gender differences in teaching, instruction, and other communication methods, in classroom environment. Marketing implications thereof have been advanced. |
