Apart from trips to Dessau in March and to Neustrelitz in May, Goschen was in Berlin until 5 July, when he left for England, getting back to the German capital on 77 August. He spent most of September and the first week of October at Tentschach. On 19 October he left for Copenhagen in connection with a family matter; he was back at his post on 21 October. On 30 November he went to stay with Lichnowsky in Austrian Silesia; he returned on 3 December. He spent the rest of the year in Berlin. |
