ABSTRACTA survey of individuals who participated in the Denver, CO, real estate market in 1990 which led to a segmentation model is described. Comments about realtors were compared with other recent surveys to develop a thesis about why realtors have such a low image in the public mind. Some suggestions about how owners and managers can organize their firms to minimize the image problem are given.
