ABSTRACTConsiderable attention has been directed at the important topic of involvement but only limited attention has been directed at involvement in services. Yet, given the increasing importance of services, further research into involvement in services is required. No study appears to have addressed whether consumers' involvement is invariant across services. This paper, therefore, addresses this question and discusses the managerial implications of the findings of this empirical investigation.
